$6 Million Settlement for Estate of Passenger Killed in USAir #427 Plane Crash

Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas Demetrio negotiated a settlement of $6 million on behalf of Brett Van Bortel, whose wife died in the crash of Boeing-manufactured USAir Flight #427. Van Bortel’s wife was on a one-day business trip as a marketing manager for her employer when the plane crashed just outside of Pittsburgh.
