$4.95 Million Settlement for Estate of 83-year-old Man in Medical Malpractice Case
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $4.95 million settlement for the estate of an 83-year-old man who fell onto the concrete outside his residence and struck his head. He was taken to a Chicago area hospital. Imaging revealed a nickel-sized subdural hematoma. The treatment plan was conservative observation unless the subdural hematoma grew, in which case surgery could be indicated.
