$2.55 Million for Pedestrian Struck by PACE Bus
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a settlement of $2.55 million on behalf of a 70-year-old pedestrian who was walking to her bus stop in Chicago in 2018 and was struck by a PACE bus.
The woman was crossing 63rd St. with a proper signal when the defendant driver struck her with a PACE medical transportation van that was owned by SCR Medical Transportation, also a defendant in the case. She suffered severe injuries, including a temporary loss of consciousness and head trauma.
