Thomas Demetrio Speaks about Concussions & NFL at City Club of Chicago Event Featuring Mike Ditka

In a high-profile panel that included Former Chicago Bears Coach Mike Ditka, Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas Demetrio discussed the NFL, CTE and concussions Sept. 12, 2016 at the City Club of Chicago’s forum, “Concussions in the NFL: Whose Bell Was Really Rung.”

The sold-out event was moderated by ESPN Legal Analyst Lester Munson, and also included panelist Liz Nicholson, whose husband, former NFL player Gerry Sullivan is a Corboy & Demetrio client, and panelist Chris Nowinski, Founder of the Concussion Legacy Foundation.

In addition to representing Sullivan, Tom and Corboy & Demetrio Attorney William Gibbs currently represent the Estates of Dave Duerson and Forrest Blue along with many other former NFL players in the NFL concussion litigation. The duo also represents Hall of Famer Paul Hornung and more than 40 other former players in lawsuits against helmet maker Riddell.
