Former NFL Players with Injuries Should Register Now for Claims in NFL Settlement
U.S. Judge Anita Brody, the federal judge overseeing the settlement of In re: National Football League Players’ Concussion Injury Litigation, is asking former players with or without injuries to register for the concussion settlement -- with an estimated value of $1 billion.
It is imperative to register in order to be eligible for benefits before the deadline of Aug. 7, 2017. If a former player who has no symptoms prior to August 7, 2017, develops symptoms after August 7, he is barred from filing a claim under the settlement, if he failed to register.
Corboy & Demetrio already represents hundreds of former players, including former Chicago Bear and Sportscaster Mike Adamle, and the families of deceased players, including the late Chicago Bears Dave Duerson and Forrest Blue, in the class-action settlement and litigation against Riddell.
To find out if you are eligible to file, please contact Corboy & Demetrio Attorneys Thomas Demetrio or William T. Gibbs.
