Former Chicago Blackhawk Keith Magnuson Wrongful Death Car Crash Litigation

A jury awarded $9.5 million to the family of the former Chicago Blackhawks defenseman and coach Keith Magnuson, which was the single largest jury verdict for a personal injury and/or wrongful death case in St. Louis County, Missouri.   Magnuson was in Toronto for the funeral of a fellow retired NHL player when a car driven by Rob Ramage, a retired St. Louis Blues player, crashed after Ramage crossed the center line.  Blood alcohol tests revealed that Ramage was legally drunk at the time of the collision.  Corboy & Demetrio, along with Kansas City attorney Grant Davis, represented the Magnuson family
