$3 Million Settlement Obtained in Police Chase Crash

Corboy & Demetrio Partner Bill Gibbs obtained $3 million in settlements against the City of Aurora in a police chase case. Our clients, a driver and his two passengers, were stopped at a red light when struck by the speeding vehicle in a pursuit by Aurora police on suspicion of theft. Our clients' injuries: The driver suffered a broken hand and neck and back pain. One passenger suffered a fractured skull and bruised organs. The other passenger injured his left hand, requiring surgery, and fractured his pelvis.
