$1.5 Million for Family of Worker Killed at Loading Dock

Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $1.5 million settlement for the family of a 67-year-old employee who was at work on March 23, 2015 at a loading dock in Romeoville, Illinois, using a forklift to unload the defendants' trailer when he wss killed. The defendant truck driver failed to chock the trailer's wheels as required by federal regulations and the employer's policies. The trailer moved and employee suffered fatal injuries.
