$1.4 Million for Victim of Merchandise Mart Attack
Corboy & Demetrio obtained as settlement of $1.4 million for a Merchandise Mart employee who was attacked and beaten in a service corridor behind her showroom on Jan. 10, 1997. Corboy & Demetrio gathered evidence, which showed a security audit was performed years before the attack pointing out the weaknesses of the Mart's then security plan.
