Corboy & Demetrio is Proud Supporter of Constitutional Rights Foundation of Chicago
The Chicago law firm of Corboy & Demetrio is proud to announce its support for 2015 of The Constitutional Rights Foundation of Chicago (CRFC), a not-for-profit organization which enhances the ability of public schools to teach students about the rights and responsibilities of an effective citizen and provides classroom-tested resources and training to teachers.
Thomas A. Demetrio, Founding Partner of Corboy & Demetrio, has served on the Board of Directors of CRFC since 2009. “Our law firm is committed to supporting CRFC, because we believe educating our youth about the importance of civic duty and responsibility will not only benefit those youth, but society overall,” Demetrio said.
CRFC provides not only teaching materials and professional development to teachers in K-12, it also provides direct programming for students, including “Lawyers in the Classroom,” which places attorney volunteers in second- through eighth-grade classrooms to help students better understand the U.S. Constitution, our legal system, and law-related careers.
