Corboy & Demetrio is proud to be a Cornerstone Sponsor of the 2016 Chicago Bar Foundation (CBF) Fall Benefit, which will take place on Saturday, Nov. 19, 2016 at the Museum of Science and Industry. This is the 20th year that the CBF has hosted a Fall Benefit.
The CBF works to improve access to justice for people in need and to make the legal system more fair and efficient for everyone.
Corboy & Demetrio is a longtime supporter of the charitable legal organization, and our firm is the only Chicago law firm who has had four members serve as CBA President.
The CBF was founded in 1948 after thousands of veterans returned home from serving in World War II. A small but prominent group of lawyers who were members of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA) came together united in the belief that by pooling their charitable efforts, the members could collectively make substantive improvements for both their profession and their community. Their vision soon became The Chicago Bar Foundation.
