Six Corboy & Demetrio Partners Named to 2023 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America
Six Corboy & Demetrio partners have been selected to 2023 Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America, an elite national legal directory of the top 500 legal minds across the country. The Corboy & Demetrio honorees are in good company on the list as all nine Justices of the U.S. Supreme Court were also selected.
Corboy & Demetrio’s attorneys who earned a spot on the list include:
- Francis Patrick Murphy, selected for his 11th year
- Philip Corboy, Jr., selected for his 9th year
- Kenneth T. Lumb, selected for his fourth year
- Daniel S. Kirschner, selected for his second year
- William T. Gibbs, selected for his first year
- Michelle M. Kohut, selected for her first year
Lawdragon 500 honorees comprise lawyers in all practice areas, as well as judges, and are selected from a combination of editorial research by Lawdragon staff, submissions from law firms and other nominations.
In 2021, Corboy & Demetrio Co-founder Thomas A. Demetrio was inducted into the Lawdragon Hall of Fame. In Lawdragon magazine’s 2015 Edition, it called Thomas “the dean of the Chicago trial bar,” when it named him a Lawdragon Legend for being selected every year since the directory’s inception.
“It’s truly an honor to have six of our attorneys selected out of the thousands of attorneys across the country,” Demetrio said. “To have them in a group that includes our nine sitting U.S. Supreme Court Justices is incredible,” he added.
