Corboy & Demetrio Partner Edward G. Willer selected to Crain's Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law
Corboy & Demetrio is proud to announce that Partner Edward G. Willer was selected to Crain’s Notable Leaders in Accounting, Consulting & Law 2024.
With his selection, Ed is one of an elite group of 88 honorees who are leaders in their firms and industries, including health care, technology, manufacturing, finance, real estate and law, touching practically every aspect of business in Chicago.
“It’s truly an honor to be included in the company of so many exceptional business leaders and attorneys,” Willer said.
Ed’s Notable profile, which appears in the Sept. 9th issue of Crain’s Chicago Business, highlights that he has obtained $59.3 million in verdicts and settlements in the last five years and more than $266 million in verdicts and settlements since joining Corboy & Demetrio in 1994.
The profile also notes that Ed served as lead attorney in a case that pierced tort immunity in Illinois, expanding the ability of workers injured on the job to seek damages from their employers.
In addition, the profile mentions that Ed served for more than 20 years on the American Association for Justice’s Hall of Fame Stalwarts Committee.
The 2024 Notable honorees were selected as a result of Crain’s comprehensive editorial review process.
