08.03.2016

Corboy & Demetrio Co-Founder Thomas A. Demetrio will participate in Concussions in the NFL: Whose Bell Was Really Rung?” on Monday, Sept. 12, 2016 at the prestigious City Club of Chicago.  Thomas will take part in a panel of high-profile speakers that includes ESPN Legal Analyst Lester Munson and Chris Nowinski, executive director of the Concussion Legacy Foundation.

Thomas and Corboy & Demetrio Attorney William Gibbs currently represent the Estates of Dave Duerson and Forrest Blue along with many other former NFL players in the NFL concussion litigation. The duo also represents Hall of Famer Paul Hornung and several other former players in their lawsuits against helmet maker Riddell.

Tom and Bill are also involved in the NHL concussion litigation, playing a leadership role on behalf of former players and the estates of deceased players.   Both have been appointed to the Plaintiff's Executive Committee by U.S. District Court Judge Susan Richard Nelson in Minnesota in the multidistrict litigation against the hockey league.
