Corboy & Demetrio Managing Partner Ken Lumb named Lawdragon "Legend”
Corboy & Demetrio is proud to announce that Managing Partner Ken Lumb has been selected to 2026 Lawdragon Legends and is one of only 22 attorneys nationwide given the honor.
Ken co-leads Corboy & Demetrio’s Mass Torts team, and his practice includes work in medical malpractice, military aviation, and general personal injury.
Ken joined Corboy & Demetrio in1995 after a tour of duty in the U.S. Army, serving in its Judge Advocate General's Corps (JAG Corps.) He was called to active duty in 2003 as part of Operation “Enduring Freedom,” and he’s currently a retired major in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Ken’s a fierce and highly successful advocate for military families. In 2024, he obtained an $80 million judgment against the Iranian Government in a deadly land mine blast that killed a U.S. Army soldier and his injured platoon leader.
Ken has received numerous accolades in his career, including his selection to Lawdragon’s 100 Managing Partners You Need to Know in 2025.
Ken is in good company as a Lawdragon Legend as he joins Thomas A. Demetrio who was selected in 2015 in its inaugural class, Francis Patrick Murphy who was selected in 2018, and Philip Corboy, Jr., who was selected in 2021.
Lawdragon created its Legends designation in 2015 to honor members of the elite Lawdragon 500 Leading Lawyers in America who had been selected for 10 years.
To be eligible for Legends, in addition to spending at least a decade on the Lawdragon 500 list, an attorney must also have “contributed to their firm, the profession, to life in meaningful and dimensional ways,” according to Lawdragon Publisher Katrina Dewey.
