Partner Conrad Nowak Dedicated to Polish-American Community

Corboy & Demetrio is proud of Partner Conrad Nowak’s dedication to the Polish-American community, including the community work he’s performed in his role as Co-Chair of the Warsaw Committee of Sister Cities International. The committee recently gathered for a celebration which brought together the group’s civic, cultural, and business initiatives within the Polish-American and global community. The event celebrated the 65th anniversary of the Sister Cities Partnership between Chicago and Warsaw, as well as the 234th anniversary of the Polish Constitution of May 3rd. The event was attended by a delegation from Poland including Vice Marshal of the Polish Parliament Monika Wielichowska, other members of parliament, the ministry of foreign affairs, and Chicago Consul General Regina Jurkowska.

The celebration also included the Polish American Chamber of Commerce, the Polish Investment and Trade Agency, and Poland’s builder of the year and honoree Artur Tlustochowski of Terra Casa, S.A. The event was hosted by Michal Rzeźnik of PAIH.

Prior to taking on the role as Co-Chair of the Warsaw Committee of Sister Cities International in 2018, Conrad served as a Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Polish American Association. He is also a past Chairman of the Board of Directors of Field Ready and a past Board Member of RedR U.S., organizations which focus on international humanitarian relief.

Conrad’s extensive commitment and work within the Polish-American community, and other global charitable organizations, is an ethic which parallels his commitment to his clients and the legal profession.
