Corboy & Demetrio Supports United Spinal Association IL Chapter on Giving Tuesday

11.26.2024

Corboy & Demetrio is proud to announce that it has selected United Spinal Association Illinois Chapter to support on Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement that takes place on Tuesday, November 26, 2024.

United Spinal Association Illinois Chapter is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals with spinal cord injuries and paralysis. The organization provides critical support, resources, and advocacy for people with spinal cord injuries, their families, and caregivers across the state.

The mission of United Spinal Association is to empower people with spinal cord injuries and paralysis to live independent, fulfilling lives through education, support, advocacy, and community engagement. Their work touches countless lives, providing essential services that range from peer support programs to educational resources and community outreach.

C&D has a long history of support of the Association’s Illinois Chapter, dating back to our law firm’s co-founder, Phil Corboy, who served on its advisory board from 1987 to 1989.

In more recent years, Managing Partner Ken Lumb served on the board from 2010 to 2016, and Attorney Mitch Bild currently serves on its board.
