Corboy & Demetrio Files Two Lawsuits for Families of Best Friends Who Died in Astroworld Disaster

Corboy & Demetrio is humbled to represent the families of Jake Jurinek and Franco Patino, two young men who were best friends since high school, who were among those killed in a crowd surge at the recent Travis Scott concert.  

Our hearts go out to their families as well as the families of all the victims in the concert disaster. It’s going to be a difficult holiday for our clients and for all the families, and we shall keep all of them in our prayers.

Our lawsuits were filed on Nov. 22, 2021, by our attorneys on behalf of the Jurinek and Patino families. We will use the civil justice system for what it’s intended: holding appropriate parties responsible in needless tragedies like this.  The lawsuits we filed were the result of our findings so far.  Our investigation will continue over many months as more and more facts are uncovered. In our thorough investigation, which has already started, we will leave no stone unturned.
