David R. Barry, Jr. Named to 2019 Illinois Super Lawyers for 15th Consecutive Year

Corboy & Demetrio Partner David R. “Chip” Barry, Jr. was named to Illinois Super Lawyers for 2019.  It’s the fifteenth consecutive year he was named to the list and is one of seven firm partners who have been selected each year since the award’s inception in 2005.

Chip is a highly-successful plaintiffs’ medical malpractice attorney, who joined Corboy & Demetrio as a partner in 2002 and has amassed more than $300 million in settlements and verdicts.  Before that time, Chip was a well-respected and successful defense attorney in the area of medical malpractice.

Chip has had numerous record-setting verdicts and settlements, including a record-setting $22 million jury verdict - the largest ever for a Chicago personal injury lawyer in a medical malpractice case in Illinois for the death of a woman.
