$6.8 Million Settlement for Pedestrian Injured by PACE Bus

Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $6.8 million settlement on behalf of a 69-year-old woman and her 71-year-old husband, for the injuries suffered by the woman who was struck by a PACE bus on Good Friday.  The woman was crossing Lake Street in Oak Park, Illinois, when the bus made an unscheduled turn. She fell to the ground, striking her head on the pavement. She sustained serious brain damage and is was confined to a nursing home, as a result.
