$1.6 Million for Construction Worker Injured by Falling Wrench
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a settlement of $1.6 million on behalf of a 27-year-old elevator mechanic whose hard hat took the force of a wrench that fell 23 stories from a skyscraper. The mechanic was standing outside the Blue Cross/Blue Shield Building when the 12 1/2 inch ratchet wrench fell onto his hard hat, then onto his hand, crushing his bones.
