$1.4 Million Settlement for Family of Passenger in Alabama Amtrak Crash

Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $1.4 million settlement on behalf of a the family of a 30-year-old passenger on Amtrak's Sunset Limited train, which plunged off the Bayour Canot Bridge on Sept. 22, 1993, after a barge crashed into the bridge just as the train was crossing it.  Forty-seven people were killed in what was the worst train crash in Amtrak history.
