$2.8 Million Record-Setting Settlement for Doctor Injured in Slip and Fall at Hospital
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a $2.8 million settlement on behalf of a doctor who was injured when he slipped and fell on silicone that spilled from a hospital cart. It was the highest settlement in Kankakee County history in 2001. The injuries left the anesthesiologist unable to fully perform his work.
