$3 Million Jury Verdict Against Chicago Opthamologist
Corboy & Demetrio obtained a jury verdict of $3 million against former Chicago opthamologist Dr. James Desnick on behalf of a 19-year-old youth who suffered loss of vision in his right eye after being treated. Plaintiff's parents had taken him to Dr. Desnick because he had developed crossed eyes but were never told the importance of patching the good eye as therapy.
