Philip Harnett Corboy, Jr. Installed as President-Elect of Illinois Trial Lawyers Association

Philip H. Corboy, Jr., a partner with the law firm of Corboy & Demetrio, was installed as President-Elect of the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association at their annual convention on Friday, June 8, 2007.

Mr. Corboy, 56,  has held numerous positions in the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association, including serving on the Board of Managers, Legislative Committee, Nominating Committee and Executive Committee. He was elected Second Vice-President in 2005 and First Vice-President in 2006.

Corboy is a distinguished trial attorney. He has been selected by peer review for inclusion in the Leading Lawyers Network, which recognizes the top five percent of all Illinois lawyers. He has also been recognized as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” and as a “Super Lawyer,” honors given to only the very best lawyers by other attorneys. He was inducted into the invitation-only American College of Trial Lawyers, the country's pre-eminent organization of trial lawyers that limits its membership to those trial lawyers who are outstanding and considered the best in their state.
