Susan Schwartz Featured Speaker at Medical Negligence Seminar

Susan J. Schwartz, a partner at Corboy & Demetrio, was a featured speaker at the Illinois Trial Lawyers Association’s Medical Negligence Seminar, “The Plaintiff’s Case: Winning Trial Techniques & Strategies,” on December 1, 2007 in Chicago, Illinois. She discussed evidence and trial strategy.

Schwartz concentrates her practice on representing patients and their families in complex medical professional negligence, personal injury and wrongful death actions and has achieved numerous multimillion verdicts and settlements on behalf of her clients. She is an active member of several bar associations and has lectured locally and nationally at bar seminars and continuing legal education programs on topics ranging from trial practice techniques to alternative methods of dispute resolution. Ms. Schwartz is the co-author of a chapter in Operative Obstetrics and has written the overview for the Medical Malpractice Guide, a guidebook published by the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education She has been a partner at Corboy & Demetrio since 1994.
