The Quiet Days of Spring?!

For Susan J. Schwartz of Corboy & Demetrio, the month of June was supposed to be fairly routine, planning on taking a few days off to enjoy the almost-imperceptible Chicago spring.

Instead, the medical malpractice attorney has been lawyering at full speed, settling three separate cases for over $6 million since the first of the month. Schwartz settled Felix v. Northwestern Memorial Hospital (94L10158) for $2,750,000 and Proteau v. Rush Presbyterian-St. Lukes (93L16162) for $1,400,000.

Schwartz hope July will be a little less busy so she can enjoy the already-sultry Chicago summer.
