Corboy & Demetrio Attorney Jenkins, Co-Chair of Chicago-Kent Young Alumni Council, Hosts Council Kick-Off

Matthew Jenkins, a trial attorney at Corboy & Demetrio and co-chair of the IIT/Chicago-Kent College of Law Young Alumni Council,  is one of the hosts for the Young Alumni Council Kick-off, which will be held on Thursday, February, 18, 2010, at the Midtown Kitchen & Bar, 203 N. LaSalle, Chicago, Illinois, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The $20 cost will include appetizers and drinks. Further information can be obtained at the law school’s website or by calling 312.906.5240.

The Council was created to strengthen bonds among recent graduates of Chicago-Kent. Matt, a 2007 graduate of Chicago-Kent who brought the idea of a Council to the law school administration, has been a Co-Chair of the Council since its inception in the Fall of 2009. Any graduate within the last 10 years is eligible to join.

Matt joined the law firm of Corboy & Demetrio in 2008 as a trial attorney in all areas of personal injury and wrongful death litigation, including cases arising from automobile collisions, construction negligence, premises liability and product liability. Before returning to Corboy & Demetrio, where he clerked while attending law school, Matt practiced plaintiffs’ Civil Rights Law at Loevy & Loevy in Chicago.
