Nightclub Patrons Injured in Panic Exit

Patrons at a nightclub located on the second floor of a building began to panic after a disturbance broke out on the dance floor and mace or pepper spray was dispersed. The guests rushed toward the only available exit in the building, down the stairwell from the second floor. As a result of the panic, many people were injured. Corboy & Demetrio represents several injured patrons against a number of defendants, including the City of Chicago, the building’s owners and a security firm.
